Currency:
The Balboa is equivalent to the American dollar, which is widely used in the country. There are not balboa bills, only coins that are equal to the American dollar in size and value. The American dollar is also a legal currency.

Cost of the ticket $ 3.00 (one way) to Almirante, $ 5.00 to Changuinola.

Banking:
National Bank of Panama, in the Government House Street. Open Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Travelers Checks and Credit Cards:
Some shops and service stores don't accept credit cards. Travelers checks can be cashed only in the National Bank.

Store Hours:
Open Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Sundays close. Most of the restaurants serve dinner only up to 10:00 pm.

Government offices:
Open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Post Office also opens on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon

Electricity:
110 AC/50 cycles. Some places have also 220 AC/60 cycles.

Customs:
Immigration office is in the Government House. All foreigner visitors must have a valid passport and visa to enter or leave Bocas Del Toro Panama. Main office is in Changuinola city.

There are many public telephones in Bocas del Toro city that accept coins or phone cards.

The Marine Park:
The Park entrance is in the Zapatillas Keys refuge. Panama residents pay $ 1.00 per visit. Foreigners pay $ 10.00 per visit.

Board of Tourism:
